Welcome to Mukdma (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mukdma.com and any associated services, directories and communications (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About Mukdma
Mukdma is an online platform that connects users with advocates and lawyers who practice in the Allahabad High Court and other local courts. Mukdma provides a searchable directory, profile listings, and tools to request consultations. Mukdma does not provide legal advice itself; it facilitates connection between users and independent advocates.
2. No Legal Advice / No Attorney-Client Relationship
All information on the Site, including articles, profiles, directory listings, and communications, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Use of the Site or contacting a listed advocate through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Mukdma. An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when you and an advocate expressly agree to such representation in writing.
3. Advocate Listings — Verification and Responsibility
We verify basic enrollment documents and public records when a profile is submitted, but Mukdma does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of any advocate’s credentials, conduct, or ability. Advocates listed on the Site are independent professionals and are responsible for their own conduct, fees and services. If you engage an advocate, any dispute regarding fees, professional conduct or case outcomes must be addressed directly with that advocate and, where appropriate, with the relevant Bar Council.
4. User obligations & prohibited conduct
When using the Services you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information when creating a submission or profile.
- Upload documents that are confidential, subject to court sealing orders, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Use the Services to commit or facilitate unlawful activity.
- Post content that violates court orders, contempt rules, or causes prejudice to judicial proceedings.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your relationship with any person.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any content, profile, or account that violates these Terms or where required by law or court order.
5. Content removal & court orders
If Mukdma receives a valid court order, governmental request, or otherwise is required by law to remove or block access to specific content or a profile, we will comply. We may notify the affected user where permitted. We are not responsible for any harm, claim or loss arising from the removal or blocking of content when required by law.
6. Fees & payments
Mukdma may offer both free and paid features. Any paid service (e.g., premium listing, featured placement) will be subject to separate terms and payment policies described at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as set out in the relevant purchase terms.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, software, layout) is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws and is owned or licensed by Mukdma or its content providers. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
DISCLAIMER: THE SERVICES, CONTENT, AND DIRECTORY ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MUKDMA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUKDMA AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL MUKDMA’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO MUKDMA IN THE PRIOR TWELVE (12) MONTHS, IF ANY.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Mukdma and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Privacy & data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal data. By using the Services you consent to the collection and use of information as set out in the Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms or by court order. Termination does not limit our rights or remedies under the law.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new Terms on the Site and update the “Effective date.” Continued use after posting indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Allahabad/Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.
